Neurons in Action 2019

Neurons in Action 2019 is the 4th Nencki Symposium dedicated to plasticity of the nervous system. The symposium is a collaborative initiative of the research groups from the Institute. This year we will host scientists covering several themes we are fascinated by: neurobiology of spatial memory, emotions, addiction, social interactions, feeding, astrocytes, neuromuscular junctions and synaptic plasticity. NiA 2019 is aimed at PhD students, postdocs, older academics as well as all other fans of neurobiology. Our group is organizing one of the sessions: The riddle of human brain plasticity – from sensory deprivation to training (chair: Artur Marchewka)
